The Benefits of Relationship Lending
You know the old saying, it pays to have friends? Well, in the world of home mortgages, it pays to be friends with your bank. Specifically, Sunflower Bank or First National 1870. On top of exceptional customer service and decades of experience, as a division of Sunflower Bank, Guardian Mortgage offers a range of benefits and exclusive financing with our Platinum Elite 100 loan for customers with an existing banking relationship at either one of those banks.
Customers with an existing banking relationship are eligible for up to 100% financing1 on their primary residence along with purchase, rate and term refinancing options. You’re also allowed to put gift funds toward your down payment as long as you’ve put down at least 5% of your own money.
There’s a range of eligible properties for our Platinum Elite 100 program including, single-family primary residences, planned unit developments (PUDs), condos (warrantable to FNMA guidelines), non-warrantable condos with restrictions2, and up to 10 acres of land. It is always best to check if your specific property type has any conditions on restrictions within the loan programs.
There are several ways to qualify for Guardian Mortgage’s Platinum Elite 100 loan program, but they all require an existing or new relationship with Sunflower Bank or First National 1870. If you use either bank for wealth management*, personal banking, banking or treasury management services for a business you own, then you’re eligible to reap the benefits of our relationship program. Plus, you'll enjoy the convenience of having all of your banking services under one roof.
So, as you can see, it certainly does pay to have a bank that is in your corner, just like a friend. If you’re already banking with Sunflower Bank or First National 1870 and have mortgage needs, Guardian should be the first place you look. You’ll enjoy the benefits of our relationship program, the convenience of having one institution handling all of your financial needs—and our top tier customer service. If you have more questions or want to apply for a mortgage, our Guardian Mortgage professionals are always ready to help.
