Carl has been in the financial services industry since graduating from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. He entered the mortgage field from a career as part-owner of a regional investment banking firm. Carl makes time to go to every closing as he feels that it is extremely important to be there at the closing of each transaction. Carl is often told by Escrow Officers of Title Companies that he is one of the few Mortgage Loan Officers who ever go to the closing appointments.

Carl is a family man and spends as much time as possible with them. He has been married to his wife, Lyn, for nearly 36 years. He enjoys helping Lyn with her jewelry business by helping her at every artisan market which she participates in, and at each of the retail stores which carry her jewelry. He has a son who is an officer and pilot in the US Air Force, a daughter who is a professional dancer and actress, and a son who is Carl’s assistant and who provides vital assistance with his borrower’s mortgage processing. He is the proud grandpa to two wonderful grandsons.

Carl has played football, basketball, and baseball in school, and has coached each sport. He loves to travel and enjoys conversation and spirited debate.
