With over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Lorrell Malotte brings a deep understanding of sales, customer service, and finance to Guardian Mortgage. Her career began unexpectedly when a friend recommended her for a temporary data entry position at a mortgage company. From there, her enthusiasm for helping others and her natural talent for relationship-building propelled her through roles as receptionist, Loan Officer Assistant, and ultimately to earning her mortgage license.

Lorrell is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her clients and understanding their unique needs. She believes that clear communication, empathy, and personalized service are key to helping customers navigate the mortgage process confidently. Her approachable style and positive attitude also extends to her colleagues, where she encourages collaboration, professionalism, and a “we’ve got this” mindset.

Outside of work, Lorrell finds joy in the tranquility of her mountain home, where she admires nature’s beauty. She enjoys gardening, cooking, horseback riding, hiking with her dogs, and spending quality time with family and friends. Her personal philosophy is, “What you are is God’s gift to you, what you become is your gift to God” – which she says guides both her life and her approach to success.
