Seth Erickson brings seventeen years of successful lending experience to Guardian Mortgage, after leaving a first career in the United States Navy. He started in Jacksonville, Florida (go Jaguars) in 2002, and moved back to Colorado in 2014.
He is passionate about helping others achieve financial security through home ownership. Seth says, “I enjoy the complexity of the process, like a huge puzzle that needs to be put together. I love helping my clients understand the mechanics of mortgages, making it smoother and simpler for them. I get almost as excited for closing day as my clients do!”
Seth works with borrowers from all walks of life, but particularly enjoys working with fellow military veterans and first-time home buyers; he specializes in military PCS relocation purchases. Seth brings the traits he developed in the Navy – a strong work ethic, attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to the work – to his job every day.
He continues, “My clients appreciate that I always seem more like a coach than like a salesperson. And that they feel prepared for everything that comes up during the approval process. My approach to lending is pretty simple: Guide, don’t sell. And always have the best interests of the client in mind.”
When he is not knee-deep in mortgages, Seth enjoys hiking and camping with his family and dogs, adventuring to new restaurants and breweries all over Denver (still on the hunt for the best pizza), professional sports, home theater design, and exploring every square inch of Colorado.
